Groups
We have a network of small groups which meet
in people’s homes during the week. Although
each group has its own character, we aim to
worship
together; learn how to translate biblical teaching
into real life change; share in each others
joys
and struggles and to reach out with love in our
work places, neighbourhoods and families. The
Home Groups meet in the daytime and evening and
we are always looking to start new groups to
try to meet the needs of all our members.
If you would like to join a group we will be delighted
to introduce you to one that might suit you, please
feel free to contact
us.

Children & Youth
Our Aim
Our aim is to introduce children to Jesus and
to encourage them to come to know him as their
own saviour and friend. We want this to be the
first step in a relationship which will last
a lifetime. We aim to have a growing children’s
ministry that welcomes children of all ages
and reaches out to their parents. Children are
an important part of our church family and the
rest of the church body is committed to supporting
the ministry to children.
Crèche - for the under
3’s
A team of people take turns to run the Crèche
every Sunday (except for Family Services) in
the staff room. Parents can either leave their
child or stay with them. Our vision is to entertain
them with songs, games and toys in a loving
and Christian environment whilst their parents/guardians
are worshipping in the Sunday morning service.
JAM - for the 3-7's
Our vision is to introduce children to Jesus
as a friend they can trust, to learn more about
him each week and to begin to recognise him
at work in their lives. JAM meets during the
morning service each week except the 1st Sunday
in the month, which is a Family service Children
leave the service at about 10:40 for their group
and return at the end of the service.
The MEET - for the 8-12's
Our vision is for children to be in a real relationship
with Jesus that is for every single day. We
want children to be strong in Christ, to learn
to pray and to listen to him; to have God’s
word in their hearts and to be able to ask questions
of the children’s ministry and church leaders.
The MEET is during the morning service each
week except the 1st Sunday in the month, which
is a Family service. Children leave the service
at about 10:40 for their group and return at
approximately 11:45.
12+ Breakfast
Our youth work starts as 12+ and this group
meets together during the service for toast
and hot chocolate. Amongst other things they
study the Youth Alpha course. Youngsters leave
the service at about 10:40 and return at the
end of the service. Our young people are encouraged
to feed into Mosaic youth church as and when
they are ready.
Youth Bible Study
Wednesday evenings 7.00 - 9.00pm - at Christchurch, Thame High St.

Thame Groups
Sharing Life Trust
Is a Local charity, with a vision for community
where those who have and can will share their time, energy
skills and resources with those who have little and could use
some help. Sharing Life Trust helps those in need both in the UK
and Overseas. For more information see their website
www.sharinglifetrust.org.
Semi-Quavers & Grace
Notes
Semi-quavers and Grace-notes are run by a group
of Christian mums for the parents and carers
of small children in the wider community. We
meet weekly (Thursdays 10am-midday in the small
and large hall of Thame Barns Centre) and aim
to provide a friendly, welcoming environment
in which we can share God's love. We sing (loudly!),
play (harmoniously...!), create (both treasured
works of art and mess!), drink tea (inevitably!)
and talk.
Sparklers
Our Sparklers Group meet once each month in
St. Marys Church Thame, normally on the second
Wednesday morning to
which parents
and carers bring their pre school children.
We open at 9:00a.m for coffee/tea and play.
At 10:00am, there is an informal service
with songs, bible story and prayers and this
is
followed
by refreshments, play and craft for the children
and time to chat with parents and carers.
Inter Church Productions
As a charity, ICP performs the role of a
holding company (principally providing a
financial safety
net) for the several local Christian drama/music
groups which together comprise Inter Church
Productions. ICP also acts as a focal point
for resource management and is able to offer
training in the various skills associated
with
the performing arts. Inter Church Productions
is located in Thame, Oxfordshire and currently
serves the Christian community in the Aylesbury
Vale and Thames valley.
